Ghanaian heptathlete, Elizabeth Dadzie produced a display of immense focus and fortitude to improve her personal best at the Georgia Bulldog Decathlon – Heptathlon championships.
The 23-year-old improved her personal best to earn her best finishes of the day in the 200 meter and the 100-meter hurdles.
In the 200 meter, Dadzie finished in 25.10 seconds for 878 points, while in the hurdles Dadzie completed the event in 13.78 for 1,010 points.
In her second race of the event earned her lowest finish, placing eighth in the high jump after clearing 1.57 meters (5-1.75) for 701 points.
Dazie’s feat will be a big boost to the confidence of the highly rated Ghanaian athlete as it will spur her own to give he best at future events.
