Conor McGregor has arrived in Los Angeles as he prepares to face Floyd Mayweather for the first time face-to-face at the start of a promotional tour for their much-anticipated boxing match in Las Vegas.
The current UFC lightweight champion will cross sports to take on the undefeated American in a money-spinning fight on August 26 which is widely-expected to break all previous pay-per-view records.
Much of the build-up to the bout has centered around the constant exchange of trash-talk between the two men, who are both known for their extravagant lifestyles away from their respective sports.
McGregor and Mayweather will face off on Tuesday for the first of four press conferences in four different cities around the world.
The Irish champion took to Instagram to post a series of photos of himself taking in Los Angeles, meeting his American fans and, of course, flaunting his wealth in the hours prior to the press conference.
McGregor was spotted shopping without a shirt in the city’s most expensive district, Beverly Hills, before stopping to take photographs with some his fans.

He took to social media shortly afterwards to post pictures, alongside the captions ‘Tyson’, ‘Tag me’ and ‘The Face’.
Another photo of McGregor posing with his t-shirt off featured the typically confident caption: ‘Get another mirror in here I’m an animal’.
McGregor and Mayweather will meet in front of the media on Tuesday night in Los Angeles before taking their promotional tour to Toronto, New York and London.
Sparks are set to fly between the two fighters at the opening press conference after McGregor responded to claims Mayweather only decided to take the big-money fight in order to settle an ongoing tax dispute with the IRS.
‘I don’t give a f**k what he did,’ McGregor told TMZ in a foul-mouthed rant on Rodeo Drive.
‘I don’t give a f**k. I don’t care what he done. He should’ve stayed retired. He’s f***ed now. That’s the god’s honest truth. He should have paid his taxes and stayed retired. And kept my name out of his f*****g mouth.’
