Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah says he is delighted with the level of support his team has received from Brazilians fans ever since they got to the country.
The Black Stars have received massive support from the Brazilian citizens ever since they touched down at their camping base in Maceió to begin their World Cup campaign. The team was warmed with colossal support during their training section at the Estádio Rei Pelé on Friday afternoon.
“The support has been so great right from the airport and even at the hotel; the whole place was packed with Brazilians. Since day one whenever we are coming for training, the whole street will be full of Brazilians waving us. And they also came in their numbers during our training sessions. It is very great,” the Ghanaian tactician said.
Ghana begins their campaign on Monday with the USA at the Estádio das Dunas, before facing Germany in Fortaleza and then wraps up their group games with Portugal in Brasilia.
