Ghanaian youth star Samuel Tetteh who just signed a four-year deal with Austrian side Red Bull Salzburg on Wednesday June 15 has revealed that he is at the right place and at the right time for his development as a footballer.
Tetteh in an exclusive interview from Salzburg after signing the deal said, he is excited to have signed for the Austrian Bundisliga giants.
“I must say am very happy and excited to join Red Bull Salzburg and I think this is the right place for me to develop as a footballer and achieve my goals and Ghanaians should expect more from me because am going to work hard and make everybody proud”———-Samuel Tetteh told Ghanafans.com
The Zidane-like player also expressed his appreciation to the coaching staff, his colleagues at WAFA and the timing fans of the Soka-Kope based team.
“Well I will like to use this opportunity to thank my colleagues and our coaches back at WAFA for the wonderful time we’ve had together since my childhood, I wish them well in the second round of the Ghana Premier League. I will also thank the fans of WAFA their unending support to me and team WAFA, I must say the are amazing”—— Samuel Tetteh added.
Tetteh was one of the best players for the national under-20 male football team the Black Satellites in the 2105 FIFA World Youth Tournament held in New Zealand which Ghana exited in the second round.
He also featured for the Black Stars in the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers and was frequently handed a call up by coach Avram Grant as the only outfield player from the local league.
