Ghana goalkeeper Daniel Adjei says he joined the Tanzanian league because of the late start of the Ghana premier league.
The former Liberty Professionals goalkeeper who had a stint with Medeama SC signed a one year deal with Tanzanian side Simba FC.
He played a huge role in Medeama’s CAF Confederation Cup campaign last season.
The 27-year –old insists he joined Simba FC to stay active in the game.
“I came to Simba because the league in Ghana has not started and i don’t want to stay and wait for maybe another court case ”
“When you are not active and a European club wants your services because of the difference in the league calendar,you are always overlooked”
“So i came to Tanzania to stay active”he told Starr FM Sports.
