Black Starlets goalkeeper Danlad Ibrahim has targeted to win the best goalkeeper award at the 2017 FIFA U17 World Cup finals which kick-starts in October.
The Asante Kotoko promising prospect has rejoined the team at the Ghanaman Soccer School of Excellence in Prampram after being excluded from the initial 25-man squad.
Ibrahim is expected to maintain his position in the Black Starlets team ahead of playing India, USA and Columbia in Group A.
”I even have it in diary that when I go to the African Cup, I will go and win the Golden Gloves and I did it,” the budding talent told Kwese Sport.
”And I’m doing the same thing, so I’m training towards what I want to target in the World Cup and I’m very sure I will be the best goalkeeper.”
