Former skipper of Ebusua Dwarfs, Nicholas Gyan, has revealed his readiness to commit his international future to another country less than one month after leaving the shores of Ghana. The ruthless center forward registered 11 goals for the Cape Coast based in the ongoing Ghana Premier League but believes his persistent black list on the national roster is enough for him to think otherwise.
The Ghanaian goal poacher, who recently inked a three year deal with Tanzanian side Simba FC, openly confessed harbouring the intention of switching his nationality, if that will boost will international career. The then inspirational skipper for the Crabs, openly confirm his readiness to switch his international allegiance, with Tanzania reportedly ready to pounce for him.
In an exclusive interview with Addae Ansah Fredrick on the Final Whistle radio talkshow, Nicholas Gyan all but confirmed his readiness to join any other national team.
“I have been rejected and maligned by my own people and wouldn’t mind playing for any country that approaches me. How can I miss out on the Black Stars B squad after scoring 11 goals in the season? ” Nicholas Gyan quizzed.
The former skipper for the Crabs made a lightening start to the season and remained of the key pillars in the set of Ebusua Dwarfs until his trip to Tanzania.
