Black Stars B striker Stephen Sarfo has lashed out at his critics after he was mocked by a section of football fans for poorly expressing himself in a post-match interview on Sunday.
Sarfo who was named the man-of-the-match in Ghana’s sweet victory over Nigeria in the finals of the WAFU Cup of Nations struggled to speak the Queens language during an interview.
The Berekum Chelsea attacker who has scored 13 goals in the Ghana Premier League has since been ridiculed by some fans for his English deficiency.
The player has hit back at his deriders saying “no degree holder has won the a goalking”.
“I don’t think there is any goalking with a degree, but I wont make that affect me, I will still concentrate and try my best to get to the top.
“I’m hoping to be called to the Black Stars that is my ultimate dream so people can mock for my English but I don’t care” he stressed.
The 23-year-old ended the tournament as the top scorer after netting four times for the Black Stars B team.
