The Sports Ministry is expected to announce the local organizing committee of the 2018 Africa Women’s Championship.
Ghana will host next year’s Women’s Championship, the first time the country will be hosting the competition.
The Sports Ministry on Thursday will name the committee to be in charge of organization of the competition.
The yet to be named group are expected to begin preparation for the Women’s flagship event on the continent.
It’s core mandate will be to select the two venues to host the competition and also work on accreditation procedure for participating teams, media, security as well as well as volunteers.
Ghana finished third at the last edition of the Africa Women;s Championship which was hosted in Cameroon.
