English side, West Ham United are plotting a summer swoop for Ghana forward Jordan Ayew, DailyMail UK is reporting.
Ayew, 24, who has been in scintillating shape for the Claret and Blue of Aston Villa after scoring six goals this season is expected to fill-in for Diafra Sakho who is rumoured to be on his way out of West Ham.
Olympique Marseille’s Michy Batshuyai, Lyon’s Alexandre Lacazette, Manchester City’s Wilfried Bony and Liverpool’s Christian Benteke are also reported to be on West Ham target should the Ayew move fail to materialise.
Jordan Ayew joined Aston Villa from Lorient in the French Ligue 1 for £9.6million and has been Villa’s standout performer in the Premier League despite their disappointing spell this season.
He was on target for Villa over the weekend when they lost to the Cherries 2 – 1 at the Vitality stadium.
