Ghana attacker Jordan Ayew scored his fourth goal of the season for Aston Villa in their 1-1 stalemate with New Castle United on Saturday.
Ayew pulled parity for his side after scoring a stunner in the 61st minute to cancel out Fabricio Coloccini’s 38th minute goal.
The Ghanaian international received a long pass from the right hand side of attack, controlled beautifully and struck from 20 yards to snatch a point for his side at the St. James’ Park.
The 24-year-old has been outstanding despite his side’s awful performance in the English Premier League this season.
Villa are still languishing at the bottom of the League table with just 7 points after 17 matches.
