Black Stars captain, Asamoah Gyan has expressed excitement at his first goal of the season at Shanghai SIPG.
The Ghanaian talisman bagged the Red Eagles fourth goal of the game as they thrashed Liaoning Whowin 4 – 0 in the Chinese Super League to move 7th on the League table with five points.
Gyan, 31, who only returned from Injury last two weeks is elated at his latest feat and hopes to build on it in coming games.
“I am happy and its beginning to come together for me so let’s pray and see what happens in the next few games.” – Gyan told Accra based Happy FM
He also commented about his recurring injuries and assured fans he was going reach his utmost best soon to deliver for both Club and country.
“In football injuries are part but once I have returned I will continue giving it my best and soon I will be back to my very best.”
