Former Right to Dream graduate, Collins Tanor was on the score sheet as Danish side FC Nordsjaelland drew 1-1 with FC Twente in a preseason friendly on Wednesday July 3, in the Netherlands.
The on-loan Manchester City midfielder has spent the past two years with the Danish Super league side. Tanor scored in the 49th minute to equalized for Nordsjaelland as the team is currently on a preseason tour in the Netherlands.
The former Black Starlets’ player played the entire game as he was deployed in an unfamiliar role as a striker but was also solid in midfield.
“It’s actually some of the things we’ve been training on. And Mtiliga told me I would just have to get the ball back into box, because you never know what could happen if it was connected”- Collins told Nordsjaellands’ media
“I also think we were shown some of the things we have trained here at the start so it was a good performance from the team. To me personally, it has been a good startup, I have had many minutes and physics start to get better after a spring of injury”- He added
Tanor appeared five (5) times for Nordsjaellan in the 2016/2017 season due to series of injuries.
