Black Stars coach, Avram Grant is unhappy about the injury situation in the Black Stars camp ahead of Ghana’s crucial 2017 AFCON qualifier against Mozambique on Sunday.
The likes of Frank Acheampong, Christian Atsu and John Boye are all big doubts for the game after suffering knocks against the Mambas in the first leg at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Asamoah Gyan and Mubarak Wakaso have also been left out of the trip to Maputo due to fitness issues and this situation seems not to be going well with the Israeli Gaffer, who’s side sit on top of Group H with nine points.
“I don’t like to take injury players into a football game, I take only players who can play,” he said.
“Even with that we took three players who have question marks, we don’t know if they can play.
“We need to analyze them today and see, they are doing anything necessary from the medical side then we will see at training today how they feel and hop they will be fit if not all of them maybe few of them.”
