The Black Queens beat Tunisia 4 – 0 at the Accra Sports Stadium on Tuesday Afternoon to book their place at the 2015 African Women Championship.
Samira Suleiman broke the deadlock for Ghana in the 26th minute after she connected a towering header to a well measured cross from Portia Boakye.
Portia Boakye doubled the Queens’ lead a few minutes later after she hit in a long range effort to displace the North African goalie in post.
The Queens nearly made it three in the second half through forward, Samira Suleiman, however her both shots at goal missed the mark narrowly.
Priscilla Adobea scored the third goal in the 82nd minute before Samira Suleiman found her brace to ensure Ghana sealed qualification to upcoming championship to be hosted by Cameroon later this year.
Ghana’s qualification means the queens will now join Nigeria, Egypt, Kenya, Zimbabwe and Equatorial Guinea as teams who have so far qualified for the upcoming competition.
